Sure, a flame's a tender thing at first
but be cautious because a fire
can destroy and make you hurt
So I tried to feed it carefully and slow
knowing for all the good things in life
you have to give them time to grow
but then came the rain
Grabbing in the underwood of my soul
tried to find the brand in me
that could make that flamelet grow
and it really started to feel warm
the tender flame was glowing and
it almost felt like home
but then came the rain
