I walked into a home, one that I'd had once called my own
‘cause I'd begun to fade
Perhaps I was ghost, looking for a pulse
Amidst forgotten days
Fading marks upon the walls, all the way to six feet tall
Mossy handprints upon the sidewalk outside
Surely this place has changed, but I feel in many ways
That it's still mine, but it has surely moved on

But I'm slowly forgetting the space in between
I try to hold on, might feel that it's mine
So I built a new house, but the same me still lives inside
