If we played scrabble
I’d kick your butt
with a seven letter word
on a triple word score
using the Q, the Z, a K, a Y,
or G, maybe an F just for folly --
I have no idea what that could spell
but I am sure if you mix ‘em with some vowels
it will teach us well --
you can check the dictionary,
while I tally my score --
That’s right, you heard me, uh huh,
this is board game drama
at a fever pitch
and I have the deluxe edition
and practicing since I’m six --
so bring your tiles, your pad
and humble pie, I’ll set down a zinger
like “zygotes” or “goodbye.”
