Our legend falls on a planet so small and so removed from it's star.
Since a time before gods the simple people there, knew nothing outside of the dark.
No heat, no light, generations born and raised into the cold.
They’d never roam, and the elders told: seek not the red horizon’s glow.
They warned. Across the vast wasteland. Few have gone, and never returned.
So why? Did some leave lives behind and sneak across the endless ice?
To find a reason for the strange red glowing light.

Traveled through eternity, and found the glow they’d always seen.
The light danced so hypnotically, and in the heat, they found they could barely breathe.
Discovered a people living lives, as they had done in the cold.
But, they were enrobed in the strange hot light, and knew nothing of the dark and snow.
Descendants of the flame, deprived of the ever-night.
To their relatives over the ice, it turns out they’re not so kind.
Captives all against their will and shortened of their given days.
Forced to endure this repulsive flame and into the fire they gaze.
No more, generations born and raised into the cold.
