I look in the mirror and see nothing but waste
grey hairs on my head, wrinkles on my face
grow old by the day as I let time slip by
rarely do I stop to ask myself “why?”

now it’s all I can do just to get through the day
never enough time or energy left
to do what I want, I’m tired and bored to death
