When other people see you on the street do they know the man you used to be? Do they know the pain that you have felt? Do they know the cards that you've been dealt? To them it seems so strange. Why's this grown man begging for change? They didn't know you when you were so strong. You haven't been this way all along. You were so strong. You were so proud. You were a lion. Your roar was so loud. The strokes came and knocked you off of your game. And after that, well you were never the same. You lost your car, your house, and you lost your wife. You lost your roar and then well you lost your life. To them it seems so strange. Why's this grown man begging for change? They didn't know you when you were so strong.
