Enjoy The Year You're Living Lyrics

When we were young

We looked at all the older kids we knew

And didn't they seem lucky

They could do so much we couldn't do

But now that we're the older ones

We realize it's true

That growing up won't set you free

'Cause now there are grown-up rules

Chorus:

Enjoy the year you're living

Every year's a special one

And though you've got to play by rules

You can still have lots of fun

Now that we are the older ones

And so are teachers at different schools

We both know that growing up won't set you free

'Cause now there are grown-up rules

Repeat Chorus

Let's enjoy the year we're living

Every year's a special one

And though we've got to play by rules

We can still have lots of fun

We can still have lots of fun
