Only burning rivers
And the smoke filled air
As I return to cover
I wish that I was free
Human disease
Has finally got the best of me
Screaming out
But I don't know what for
None to hear me
No one left anymore
Broken bottles
Discarded human waste
Nothing can keep the flies
Off my bandaged face
The constant humming - kept alive by a machine
I'd like to cut the cord and wake up from this dream
