From Good Homes Comin' On Home
tommy conroy, friend of
mine said
"I ain't a dog and I
ain't gonna take it!"
so he got himself a
van, a vw
loaded on his clothes and
his pots and pans
and he set out on the
highway
to California, up the
al-can into Alaska
spotted a piece of land
on the coast
said "i'm gonna make a livin
workin on a fishin boat"
six months later the
boat went bye
left him sittin on the
beach high and dry
he headed back out on
the highway
comin home, his pockets
all empty
and his tail between
his legs!

out to Utah, got a loan to
open up a bakery
six months later the
loan went dry
bakery closed she said
"bye bye!"
headed back out on the
highway
