As years pass, getting out of bed's become an overwhelming task,
I'm not sure it's even worth it, because the kids I stood with, the work I put in,
Hardly brought me shit, is it that I haven't earned, or that I don't deserve it,
But i know one thing for certain, I'll no longer live my life for anyone but me,
I've had enough, I'm tired of sluts, tired of headaches when I'm waking up,
And I'm so sick of hearing that I am not the one, from now on,
I'll do what I want, do what I have to get out of this slump, march to my own drum,
Take life as it comes, and I'll no longer live my life for anyone but me,
I'm not concerned, no I don't really care, if that picture doesn't fit your frame,
I've seen your path before, I'll pave my road on my own,
I'd rather go explore, I'll pave my road on my own,
Rather not know whats in store, I'll pave my road on my own,
Because life is meant for so much, so much more.
