Endeavor Loft
I looked with the utmost sincerity. I looked for what no one had yet found. I thought I could find it. I envisioned it all but human nature. I was looking for a revolution. I pulled my hair out trying to find one. Looked under a few rocks, opened a few minds without opening my eyes. Idealistical, but ideals were all I had. Nothing but aspirations. Utopia quickly fades. Rumbling in the dark with a pounding heartache, trying so hard to make a mark. Trying to find my niche, a place exploiting my potentials. The oasis lies inside. It rests at the heart of the soul. The truth waits to be revealed with the passing of time. I saw my salvation. I had it all along. I had it under my arm the whole time. So I just let the fire burn. It hurt at first but with time I learned how it worked. I could never get used to watching their world burn so many alive. But I can accept my role as a modest one. As long as we continue to try. As long as we can still cry, we're okay. I watched it melt those dreams away, those silly visions melted in that fire, in that truth. The answers lie inside. The revolution is in the mind.
