So I turn on my TV set
And do you know what's there
Well every station that I click through
It seems to be playing the same program
It's flawless young bodies looking too good to be alive
Runnin' around like wild animals out in the moonlight
But all I can think about is
Why does everything always have to be about vampires?
So I turn back to my TV set
And something new was there
It's people talking of what's been happening
With the war we're in
And I point my finger and the picture it changes
To a pale skinned man and the gorgeous woman that he's saving
Oh, and they've found love in such a dark place, the devil he is strange ain't he
But what i really wan to know is
Why does everything always have to be about vampires?
