I watched her stare turn to rage
as she looked up to the sky and cried out
Where have you gone?
Cause I don't feel you here with me
My cup was running over,
Now all these thoughts run over me
And I can't see
Or understand why in your plan don't you allow to me some relief
Cant you take this from me?
Why don't you ever intervene?
Only One who can raise the sun, why is it darkness has fallen upon me?
In the silence, beneath the tall cliff, without vision, a sheep is wandering
No noise to hear, or signal you are near, to scare off death when the
wolves surround me
My friend, once I waited for death
All wounds, given time, will eventually mend
I looked to the west where the sun had left, I waited for the night to take
me away
I couldn't recognize that in my plight, it wasn't death but goodbyes that I
feared
take pride in your life to honor those not here
Now death is all she sees, its her reality, how can she believe, when
theres no end in sight
The night feels so long, please continue on, remember the value of your

The longer the night the closer the morning
With eyes fixed west you can't watch the rising sun
Long for what is gone and you'll miss what is sure to come
We question demanding answers, are we listening?
