Dusks Embrace Hollow Thoughts
What amount of time has passed in this my desolate solitude.
Chaotic visions of a thousand years fly through the
mind like dust in the wind.
Where did it all start?
When will it all end?
Memories so elusive, as far away as the moon.
Why has sanity deserted while waiting here for nothingness?
The elements swarm about while time laughs without care.
Waiting, drifting, sinking into forever.
Restarting the plight once more within hollow thoughts.
This shell lays here against it all, never feeling the worlds pain.
Yet cognizance is fading as eterenity closes about.
Death has satisfied his long appetite.
That which was once feared is now all that is craved.
