Dusks Embrace A Dark Revelation
Raging winds whirl the mists about me, blinding me from this society.
Grey lights are all I see.
What is this brilliance that I feel.
I've lingered here for so long.
Imprisoned within, forever trying to escape.
So alone within this cyclone, I'm
obscured to the outside world.
I am transparent as they peer at me, phasing in and
out of their understanding.
I sit within my cage.
The wall before me breaks into the
light.
The vision falls upon me.
I see all beyond in clarity for the first time.
Loathing, horror and disgust fill me.
My mind swells with disbelief at their world.
Take me back inside my cage.
I long for all I once knew and no more.
I stand between my cold tranquility and the affright that lies beyond.
All so far away, I long for release.
If only to return to my ignorance.
To the comfort I never knew.
All so far away.
This existence is more than I can bear.
