I found a way to slow it down
I was twisting all the knobs
And grinding gears in to the dust
Of smoke that covered up the corridors of time
Aiding and abetting an escape
I thought was mine and only mine
Where no one's standing guard
Or dishing dirt and naming names
The past is easier to bend

Of motivation and sensation and the walls that I can't climb
