When you looked down from the heavens
And saw that earth was good
You said we should follow one way
And that way will lead us home
When you came down from the heavens
You came with just one plea
You said
Come take up your cross and follow me
I will follow you wherever you may lead
Though the path may be rocky and steep
To your ways i will keep
I will follow you wherever you may lead
Though it brings me to my knees
It's your heart i will please
