All this time we’ve never seemed to realize that we’ve left behind
All the things that really matter
If we try we can, however, take back what was lost, if you’re ready
We can change their minds
With every choice we make the action will someday soon reciprocate
As something we’ll either love or we will hate
If ever there was a time to think this through I say we do
Because everyone at one time or other wants to have some fun
But slowly this has begun to overcome the purpose of what we’re really looking for there’s so much more
And all this time we’ve never seemed to realize that we’ve left behind All the things that really matter

We can change their minds
Cause you belong to something that was meant for more than this
Too long we’ve tripped on all these pointless things
But now it’s time to take control without letting (without letting)
Without letting go
There’s a beating heart inside each and every one of us that starts
At finding the truth of who we really are
We can’t just blindly throw away the hope we hold / to keep this mold
Cause we’re a step away from choices to make that will decide our fate
It’s not something we can leave up to debate
We can’t simply let our idle lives pass by let’s do this right
