Children crushed by the threats and fears,
No more time for dreaming.
A world without visions,
Futures painted grey.
There is no promise,
Disaster looms.
The shadow of hostile threats leaves,
No room to grow.
As a generation comes to see,
the madness we're facing.
This self-destruction,
defies all sense.
A world much smaller,
Beyond control.
Our way of life ruled by,
Impermanence.
Our future seems meaningless,
Nothing to plan for.
The "psychic toll" leaves,
Cultures in doubt.
With no security,
An unstable view.
My way of life shaped by,
The promised doom.
