I woke up today to some clarity in my head,
understanding that the beauty of life lies
in the uncertainty of everything except death.
Today I shed my past,
I am but a bird of prey
feeding off of society's remains,
sick to my stomach.
I'm a loner in a world that insecurely strives
for affection thanks to the lack of self esteem.
Boundaries are set from an early stage
telling us what we can and cannot do,
telling us what we should or shouldn't say.
Feeding us lies to get us through the day.
Well f..ck you, I've had enough!
