Through a lifetime of seeking and searching
Have I come to the end of my road?
Where is the defining moment
Am I lost in the seeds that I’ve sowed?
As I’m waiting for answers to questions
With a future that’s rather unclear
Will I ever know who I am
What I’m all about
With never a doubt or a fear.
With a mold that is cast from the inside
Just how and where do I fit in
Aware that some things may different
But better for all in the end.
Embracing my goals and intentions
Integrity is my best friend
I’m beginning to know who I am
What I’m all about
With never a truth to defend
Still doubt offers up its misgivings
As I stop at my fork in the road
But with an unwaivering spirit
My sanctity’s slowly bestowed
So I’ll take a look on the inside
To uncover the dreams of my soul
Then I’ll clearly know who I am
What I’m all about
As higher and higher I’ll go.
