Chinkees She's My Friend
She's my friend who would lend me money, telling me that
I was funny --Walk with me for hours as we went around
the town --
to spend some time with each other, going out to see her
mother.
Didn't realize how lucky I was --
to be with someone, a caring person, got a need in my
life.
Have to figure it out again, what it's like to have a
best friend, never gonna find another beutiful girl like
her now she's my friend.
Today I go through my daily routine.
My record label seems to walk all over me.
Late at night my thoughts start to settle down --
I think a lot about her!
She's my friend --
talk a long time, hanging out in her room.
Even found a liking to her cats who I would groom-groom!
Sometimes I would wash her dishes, hoping I could grant
your wishes.
