Epignosis: my desire.
Under the skin, down in the blood, I strain against the
flow of my emotion's flood,
My hope is peace; my hope, I pray, to seek your face,
your love, your light, your truth, your way.

Lifetime spent in turmoil; my spirit stained with my
flesh,
My tolerance exposed for devilry that it is,
My spirit aches from it's burden, longing to be free,
But I've strapped my dead past to my back, and I'm
sinking.
Almighty God, redeem,
My soul cries out to thee.
A state of grace: the only place my soul finds liberty,
Only there, beneath your stare, can I reach my destiny,
My faith taken to another level,
My hope from out of the mire of the carnal mind, and
running blind to a soul embraced by a holy fire.
Set me soul on fire.
Purge me clean,
Burn this stain from me.
