Golden years
It's a wonder that I'm still here
Just as healthy and alive
These weary eyes
While they have seen better days
They've never seen a better sight
Than that of my darling bride
The first light of the Spring sun shining the day she
entered
The first gaze like a tidal wave breaking over my soul
The feeling she left still reeling all around me today
Our days were young
But I knew well what had to be done
Build a plan of my attack

Went against the way I was made

My knee's bent and with a look I said

Who knew that love
