when all else fails, grab your board
don't get overwhelmed, skate and destroy
all other issues can be ignored
when life's at a halt, skate and annoy!
i need a vacation from the stress
cause lately i've been a wreck
life wins and you die
as long as i'm still breathing i will defy
too much to do, too little time
searching but not finding, something to call mine
but each time i drop in, like a breath of fresh air
i gotta confess it's a love affair!
like an addict i get my jones
to rotate some wheels and break my bones
i get the urge and i gotta thrash
fiending for coping that i can slash
flying down the sidewalk, rolling on the street
freshly paved asphalt or smooth concrete
don't need none, my board can be my wife
keep rolling forever, don't be downtrodden by life
too much to do, too little time
