It comes like the hunt; storms rage the night sky
Hard is the fall to that dread unknown
Swift strike of the blade
Stings cruel in your side
And in that sharp breath
The Chiseled truth of the end
Before the Night's sky gnaw at my bones
My root in this world? I've yet to find home
A hermit amongst strangers
A stone forest in me
Nestled in brush fire
A snare set in its teeth
The hunt and the fall
The sea and the end
The light in the wound

Fertile fields to dark streets
Dust condemns dreams to false deeds
