She stands upon an open hill
Her hair is blown, her lips are chilled
She stands for all the world to see
A cherished one, a memory
She smiles as if she knows I'm there
I hold her hand, I touch her hair
I think of all the good she brought
A helping hand, a loving thought
She turns and looks towards the sky
I see her laugh, I see her cry
I wonder why it has to be
That she is near, but far from me
