Artifact Coalescence
There’s more than distance that I’ve gone
To reach this unfamiliar place
I’d like to think this is the answer
This redirection in our lives
Has come from empty promises
If only we could capture the moment
We raise our hands up towards the sky
And point to the heavens
We’re hoping the stars will be aligned
We’re hoping that time is on our side
We’re hoping that we will survive
The battle that lies ahead
Could ruin our lives
Now I’ve seen the burning gates in hell
And I swear the devil showed me how
To see the evil in your eyes
With trust and faith in who we are
We’ll keep on reaching for the stars
Our heads are still above the water
Something tells me we’ve found our home
Something tells me we’re not alone
We’ll fight for a reason to never give in
We’ll pick up the pieces of everything
We’ve lost along the way
Let’s fix the problem by joining hands
And becoming something so much bigger than
We were before we found the answer
Which came to us just in time
