it's the moments we recall
for me it's the silences that seem to erode, erode…
i guess you didn't know what to say back then
has turned to now
and I'm still
i'm still left wondering how I fit in
what part have I played in your life
you're unhappy with the cards you've been dealt
you can fold that hand anytime
and try, try one more time

to shape the silences
we never could seem to connect
a futile pursuit was evident
with our different objectives, interests and ways,
ways of doing ..
but in every leaf is a pattern of the tree
in turn that must mean there's a history
a history
of you in me ... wrapped up in me.
