Heresiarch Lyrics
Accursed Heresiarch
Spreading the word
In silent cloisters
As an infection unto
The minds of men
Apostacy arises
Behold the twisted paths
Hidden under
Torturous analogy
Layers of meaning
Words to guide the seeker
Veiled under false orthodoxy
Led by degrees
Away from the light
Led down paths of sophistry
Into the pandemonium
Lead them astray
Prince of heretics
Twisting your words
Ephemeral promises of salvation
Whispered into the ears
Of the gullible.
In silent cloisters
As an infection unto
The minds of men
Apostacy arises
Behold the twisted paths
Hidden under
Torturous analogy
Layers of meaning
Words to guide the seeker
Veiled under false orthodoxy
Led by degrees
Away from the light
Led down paths of sophistry
Into the pandemonium
Lead them astray
Prince of heretics
Twisting your words
Ephemeral promises of salvation
Whispered into the ears
Of the gullible.
