A Past Unknown Cured
I want to get this out of the way, You know where I
stand, I’ve
been hanging by a thread. I’ve been bruised, in return
I put You to death,
I’m a mess and You see me for who I am. This has gone
on for far too long.
Shifting blame to others instead of myself, I know I
have gone wrong.
Frustration has put me towards the end of the rope.
Deny myself to make
You first is harder than everything. Promise me Your
word, if I forfeit
will You lift me up? Promise me Your cure if I confess
will I be made new?
If I confess will You be there with open arms? I’m at
the end, give life
to this body that’s dead. I’m dead. Pick me up as I
fall. I know who you
are, I’ve seen you hurt, I’ve been there all along, I
am your deepest
need. You can’t replace Me. I see you as you fall, My
arms have already
caught you. You are everything to Me, what you’ve done,
I paid the price
to set you free. No one can come against Me, I am Just,
I am Love, I am
Glory. I’ll meet you at your deepest needs when you are
weak and My
promises I will never break. I’ve been true to you when
you turn your back
on Me. I knew who you were before I let you breathe. I
will heal your
deepest hurt and hear your every cry. My name is Jesus
Christ,
Resurrection and the Life. I am Life. If you believe in
your heart and
confess with your tongue, I will save you, I love you,
your battles I have
already won. I am Life.
