Yes its judgment day, and were sitting near…
Dust in the corners, on the boxes, and across the
drapes.
Were drinking our last beer in this empty room. While
Zounds plays, we hum the tune...

We sit and watch the clock off to the side, and watch
our last hours subside,
We can't help but sit lower, and try not to sing ours,
just a little bit slower....
As our eyelids wrap up our blood-shot eyes,
and all the dreams we see inside.
The happy places we all attended,
Secret places of a different land,
and of the jokes we've heard over again, and again...
While we lay peaceful and quiet, the suns light tucks
us in,
One by one our ashes are all dimmed. Given shelter and
warmth just to be taken away again,

By the mourning not a soul remains, destiny has set
things right again.
