Surprise Lyrics

I was taken by surprise by a lovely lookin' woman

She tore me to bits and said I wasn't human

I looked her in the eye and she started to laugh

Don't really know why I took this path

I decided to try and forget her

Come walk with me

Come walk with me

And you will see

Strange things seem to happen

In the eyes of a clown

It's the unexpected

That tends to bring you down

Took my dog for a walk she started to bite me

So I gave her a kick I don't think she likes me

It just hasn't been my lucky day

Nothin' good seems to come my way

I decided to try and forget her

Come walk with me

Come walk with me

And you will see

Strange things seem to happen

In the eyes of a clown

It's the unexpected

That tends to bring you down

Surprises are for fools

As you have to know what to do

Nothin' good seems to come my way

To stop me feelin' blue

Strange things seem to happen

In the eyes of a clown

It's the unexpected

That tends to bring you down

Went to the station to wait on a train

When I got there it started to rain

Tripped over this ladys case

She came to me and slapped my face

I decided to try and forget her

Come walk with me

Come walk with me

And you will see

Strange things seem to happen

In the eyes of a clown

It's the unexpected

That tends to bring you down
