Waxwing Starfish
Tried for the launch but you only sank into the sea
Not a star but just a starfish you'll be
Cold water rising seaweed sings sweet dreams
Take a closer look no telling who you might be.
Guess those who are most alive
Feel closest to death all the time
And they never know me
I guess it's hard to know someone,
I never know myself.
Wake up, go see what you can create
Sleep tight, just pray that you don't break tonight
Leave now for me it's much to late
Broken still every time I wake.
Shrouded in mystery and misery
You'll never see the light of day
And what a beautiful day it is to miss.
