Beast, we are the same
In at least three ways
Both have payed dues
To go by this name
Love is overthought
But we both made mistakes
In it's name
Chased allys through the night
Stayed up to meet the day
Both like it more
When things go our way
I have been in front
And I have been behind
Those big chalk lines
And I have made peace
With the sound
Of glass breaking down
And beast have made mistakes
To end up in this place
To go out past Friday
Wrong inner workings
Here's my name
To think I could be
Sustained on the love I recieved
Oh poetry and prose in
The good times I had
Well, they're gone before I knew it
