Vorkuta Gargoyle
Suddenly a vast shade from the nowhere
Obscured me,a long forgotten stone warrior,
Sitting on the spire of a pristine cathedral
The pale light of the moon was dancing
Balefully on his grotesque kisser
I remained rooted to the spot
With fear to mill my heart
I felt he was in motiom
With his howling wings untold
And his wicked arms outstretched
to swoop me in the night
Gargoyle
My sheer mind was ripped
by the vamps of dismay,
whilst I was to awake
That the phantasm carved of stone
was just standing motionless
But his numbing stare on me
was exhortatory
Although all remainging stand still
The stone guardians of the world beyond
Were singing by the moonbeams
They mourned for the dead
With their grievous chant
Were guarding olden shrines
Of the long by - gone yores
Gargoyle
(All of the weak has fallen that night,
Fallen,into the chasms of lunacy...)
