it's only natural life rushes up to me in a stampede, and
i raise my flag, and i surrender turn me loose now to
experience open the gates sparkle up out of my weary
sense abate, worry, abate and this is where i go against
the grain, squealing around the curb of possibility i'm
waking up from a long, deep sleep just to look around and
find it pouring drag my feet to call it reality because
then i have to pay stomp in puddles or a tidal wave wind
up soaking either way daily light, scold me, but, daily
night, stay, friend memory blurs for me when my room is
dark and cozy, but day knows right daily light deals me
my daily dying blow memory blurs for me when i can't feel
you close to me, but day will right me
