Unitopia One Day
All alone, silence closing in on what was meant to be.
Here and now is the only future that is left for me,
eternally.
I hear a voice cry out,
And realise it’s mine.
Stretching every nerve in line
All alone, I sit and watch the bluebird flying high
above.
Overwhelmed, I rub my eyes believing it’s the end for
love, it’s not enough.
I touch the void within,
And fear it touches me.
Closing every door to hope.
It seems it’s happening again
Like a long lost friend
'Til the very end
I hope that all those that are dear to me,
Know of all that wasn’t clear to me…one day.
