I think we’re losing, when this is all we know and life succombs to apathy. We’re caught in constant sleep because it feels so safe. But I can’t be still when life’s in technicolor and stereo. You live in black and white and I can’t live like that. Like an evergreen in a field of change you’re trapped. Like a wounded bird who spreads his wings, you can’t fly away. You’re so content it kills me.
