well i went to see my baby last night
she got me feeling alright
once again,
now here i go again
well i got such a long way to go
walking down this lonesome road
in the rain,
seems like it'll never end
the sky sports a deep shade of grey
as the roads start to fill with rain
and I'm carrying such a heavy load
but still i keep walking
