Yeah there's something I like about this time of year There's a chill in the air at night but the warm days are still here Should have told me something when I gave the ride down town And you pushed my hand away and made me feel like a clown I cried "Red Yellow, Black and Blue What's good for you is good for me too" Saw an ad in the paper one day someone looking for a painter Someone wanted all their colors changed So I took that job and I learned to paint and I tried to learn from my mistakes.
