Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button noseand two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow but the childrenknow how he came to life one day
There must have been some magic in thatold silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his headhe began to dance around
O Frosty the snowmanwas alive as he could be
And the children say he could laughand play just the same as you and me

He led them down the streets of townright to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment whenhe heard him holler "Stop!"For Frosty the snow manhad to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye saying
"Don't you cry
I'll be back again some day
