I's like to freeze time and hold a moment. Tomorrow won't be the same. Everything will change. So say goodbye, my friend. To what we have today. When everyday is yesterday will i still know you? When these feelings are gone will we remember? The world is a confusing place when day to day nothing stays true. We watch friends go, they've passed this phase. I'm standing here along, the only one who doesn't change. I will remember. Will you? I don't want to be like you. I pray the day will never come when i look back on these times and turn away. You threw away your beliefs, said they never meant that much, couldn't keep your promises, be my friend, or keep in touch. You tell me straight edge is a crutch; i see you've gone and found another. That person that i loved is gone in your place stands a stranger, looking for answers in all the wrong places; finding fault in the person you were. You were my friend.
