One Morning Lyrics

Tiltmeter One Morning

One Morning- I'm sounding off. Three, two, one, and so
on. I'm trying to be heard through the fog. With my head
arched to the river I spoke so that it echoed from my
concrete ledge to the strangers passing by. It's alright,
I'm much better than I should be. I'm much better than
before. I'm standing on a bridge with a megaphone. I
shout into your ears through a megaphone. The second you
look away I'll jump. If I go and I don't wake up one
morning surely everyone will know the reason why and
where I've gone. Pages fly as I dive to where they'll
find me. When it rains it pours. I sink towards my
permanent end to a temporary problem.
