listening to riversall day, asking myself,'why are you so
far away from me?'

and i asked you to join me,
but you said, you don't hang with boys like me.'
when i sit in my room,
drinking peach ice tea,
it reminds me of you
and i play my guitar
as loud as i can
'cause maybe you'll pass my open window
'cause i wrote all these songs for you,
but i guess you'll never hear them
nobody's gonna hear them
'cause no-one can understand a boy's mind
so if you would be so kind
just look at me once or twice
you'd see the passion behind those glasses of mine
