His throat slit, by the ritual knife
To bring good seasons to the land

but the next season
was not better.
The following autumn
they sacrificed men,
but that one
was even worse.
His blood was sprinkled on idols
Depicting our highest gods
The Allfather, Þórr and Freyr
May the good harvests return!
