There Were Wires Fat With Glasses
Who cares if I wanted to be someone else? I find comfort
in this because there none in you. And the question
remains the same...who dragged this conscience down? Who
buried esteem? Cut down from nothing, I can barely
breathe. A life-long laugh track, so just forget me. I
don't exist. I never did (stay quiet, please). And it's
funny how I wanted to be you. To have the quick wit/hip
shit--all form fit. But so resigned, you can have it all.
