That Very Time I Saw Tables Turning
i packed my bags once again. soaked up everything.
breathing in. trying to picture this moment cause this
time it could be forever. and not just for now. this
small boy is moving out. and again i turned my back on
this place. looking over my shoulder like i did a
thousand times before. i knew it meant goodbye. i am
leaving forever. now i am writing this letter so many
miles apart. saying these things i knew right from the
start. expecting this distance would feel so good. but it
did not always do. there were nights when i tried to
dream myself back and days when my eyes tried to figure
this spot. i have been leaving forever.
