I know it’s not paradise.
But I’ll gladly suffer the 6-hour drives.

I’ll pray for the next flight home but settle for the highway.

To undivide the lines.
The ring of the telephone in my ear.
Speak the words that are so hard to hear.
Three minutes of I miss yous and wish you were heres.
It helps me see. The how we chose to be.
Has made us distant. And the distance it means everything.
And if this dance floor clears before the night is through.
