Telepathic Butterflies Flowerbed
She celebrates each morning with a passing smileabove her
window sill
She paints a portrait of herself and leaves it to dry
upon
a dusty shelf
She peels the summer off her skin and questions every
single thing she did
Remember what she said: 'Please watch my flower bed.'
As I watched with eyes intent
She is happy when she says
That she's never going to die
She never worries 'bout the weather
Feeling the sunshine in her mind it seems
She walks upon the ground with cautious feet so small
that every step's unheard
And every road she's ever travelled takes her back to
where she's always been
